On-board diagnostics (OBD) is the system modern vehicles use to report faults and sensor data. A scanner connects to the vehicle’s diagnostic port and a technician reads fault codes from it, which helps find problems faster.
About Danlite
Danlite is a brand of OBD scanners and cables sold in India for BS6 and BS7 bikes, including models such as the T300 and V311. Public product listings describe these scanners as wireless and compatible with Android devices, which is why a phone app suits this kind of workflow. Danlite is a trademark of its owner. I work at Danlite Tools Technician as a technician, developer and assistant in general operations.
About this app
The Danlite OBD App is a mobile app I built for vehicle diagnostics. It is also connected to the Ulfat Ansari Vlogs project, where Danlite tools are presented to bike technicians and learners.
- Scans the vehicle’s ECU (engine control unit) and works as a diagnostic scanner.
- Works in multiple Indian languages, so mechanics can use it in the language they are most comfortable with.
